Two-Jaw Drum Lifting Hook
Lifting Sling Hook
Serving as the intermediate link between a hoist hook and the accompanying sling or load, the primary function of these components is to ensure a secure connection while facilitating convenient detachment. Common types include:
**Shackles:** Constructed from high-strength alloy steel, these are available in straight and bow (omega) configurations and are suitable for loads ranging from 0.5 to 100 tons. They must be carefully matched to the tonnage capacity of the lifting gear and hoist; overloading is strictly prohibited. Any shackle exhibiting wear exceeding 10% of its original dimensions or showing signs of deformation must be immediately scrapped.
**Hooks (including Safety Latches):** These are standard components for electric hoists, typically forged from alloy steel and equipped with a safety latch to prevent the lifting sling from slipping off. Swivel hooks, capable of 360° rotation, help prevent wire rope twisting and are ideally suited for applications involving frequent start-and-stop cycles.
**Lifting Rings / Lifting Lugs:** These components are affixed directly to the load itself and are used in conjunction with shackles to connect to the hoist. They are suitable for lifting equipment, molds, and other heavy objects that feature pre-designated lifting points.
