Introduction
A mobile cantilever crane, also known as a portable jib crane, is a light-duty lifting device equipped with a wheeled base for flexible relocation. It requires no fixed foundation and is widely used for frequent light-load material handling across multiple workstations.
1. Main Structure
- Mobile Base: Heavy-duty steel base fitted with casters and brakes. Available in manual push, electric and battery-powered types.
- Vertical Mast: Main support column for the jib and slewing mechanism.
- Cantilever Jib: Horizontal boom mounted with a hoist, capable of 180° to 360° slewing.
- Counterweight: Installed on the base to prevent overturning during operation.
- Lifting Hoist: Electric chain hoist or wire rope hoist for material lifting and horizontal movement.

- Rated Load: 80 kg to 3 tons (custom models up to 5 tons)
- Jib Length / Radius: 1.5 m to 6 m

6. Safety Regulations
- Do not move the crane while lifting loads; only relocate it when unloaded.
- Lock the caster brakes before operation and use on firm, level ground.
- Never overload the crane. Regularly inspect counterweights, welds, hoists and ropes.
