Eye Hook
An eye hook is a widely used forged lifting component consisting of a solid closed circular eye on one end and a curved hook on the other end. It is primarily applied to connect wire ropes, chains and other lifting fittings for rigging assembly.
Manufactured from high-strength alloy steel via drop forging and overall heat treatment, eye hooks feature outstanding mechanical performance and load resistance. Their surface is finished with powder coating or hot-dip galvanization to effectively resist rust and corrosion. Some styles come with an optional spring safety latch to stop slings from slipping out accidentally during hoisting.
Complying with CE and ASME B30.9 industry standards, these hooks cover a full range of working load limits. Thanks to their simple structure and easy installation, eye hooks are extensively used in construction, machinery installation, shipbuilding, warehousing and various industrial lifting operations.
