1. Definition
An electric hoist with wireless remote control is a compact lifting machinery driven by an electric motor, equipped with a radio-frequency wireless remote operating system to replace traditional wired control or ground manual push-button operation. It is designed for vertically lifting, lowering and horizontally moving heavy loads in industrial sites.
2. Core Composition
- Main hoist body: Includes electric motor, reducer, wire rope/chain drum, braking system, load hook and overload protection device; classified into wire rope electric hoists and chain electric hoists by lifting medium.
- Wireless remote control system: Consists of a portable handheld transmitter (remote controller) and an on-board receiver fixed on the hoist. The transmitter sends wireless signal commands, and the receiver converts signals into electrical signals to control the hoist’s motor action. Most adopt UHF industrial wireless frequency with strong anti-interference capability.
3. Main Functional Features
- Flexible remote operation: Operators can control hoist lifting, lowering, forward/backward trolley travelling from a safe distance (usually 20–100 metres), avoiding standing directly under suspended loads to reduce safety risks.
- Dual control option: Most models support switching between wireless remote control and wired pendant control as backup for emergency use when the remote runs out of power or malfunctions.
- Multi-safety protection: Standard fitted with overload cutoff protection, upper/lower limit travel stop, electromagnetic brake and phase-loss protection to prevent overloading, overwinding and accidental falling of cargo.
- Easy installation & high mobility: The wireless set requires no complicated wiring transformation for existing hoists, convenient for retrofitting old lifting equipment.
- Stable signal performance: Industrial-grade remote controllers resist interference from workshop high-frequency equipment, dust and electromagnetic environments.
4. Application Scenarios
Widely used in factories, warehouses, construction workshops, machinery processing plants, automobile maintenance workshops, logistics terminals and small harbour cargo handling for loading/unloading and short-distance transfer of moulds, raw materials and finished components.
